THE CENTER OF MILTENBERGER-CAMBODIA
The Center of Miltenberger-Cambodia (CMC) has been established on March 09, 2003 and registered by the Interior Ministry of the Kingdom of Cambodia as local non-government organization (NGO) on May 23, 2003, having the registration's number No. 477 Sar-Chor-Nae (Khmer Language).
Although CMC has been founded on the middle year 2003, but since the beginning of 2001 the founders of CMC effort to find the funds from Germany, in particular the funds from the German people living in Moenchberg and Elsendfeld Commune of Miltenberg District, to help the rural people of Cambodia.
The funds donated by these German People have been used to build a delivery station for Koh Dach Commune Health Center, to rebuild the Kindergarten of Samdach Ov School, to give the salary of the kindergarten's teachers and to build the playground as well to purchase the toys for the Kindergarten of Samdach Ov school in Koh Dach Commune. In particular, the funds have been also granted to the poor Communities and the schools of the Commune for building the drilling wells and the water reservoir, and supported the Health Center of the Commune for buying the medical materials.
Base on the activities described above the CMC is continuing and extending these activities into the other Communes in aiming to participate in developing and improving the livelihood of the rural people of Cambodia.
